How to report a scam

If you have been the victim of a scam, you must report this to your bank. You can contact your bank either using the number on the back of your card or by calling159. You will also need to report what has happened to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.

If you have received a scam or suspicious text message (SMS), this can be reported by forwarding the message to 7726. Scam emails should be sent to report@phishing.gov.uk.
